YAY

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

This place is an amazing hidden gem in the Colombian jungle. Every detail is so thought out and beautifully designed, luxurious while still maintaining a much appreciated focus on sustainability and respect for the land. The property is absolutely gorgeous, the vegan food is incredible, and the staff is so kind and helpful. I stayed her for a week and my mind and body just melted into stillness. Love this place so much! Thank you for everything YAY!

Yay Lodge and Restaurant is such a magical place! Just a 10 minutes motorbie ride away from the busy mainroad is the most beautiful, lush, green paradise you'll ever find called Yay! It's a jungle garden with little cabins, hammocks, a beach on the river with more hammocks, yoga place and a restaurant with delicious food and drinks! I loved my stay and the staff and one of my highlights was to float in the river. I also love the plant based concept!

LOCATION

YAY is located on Colombia’s Caribbean coast, between the Lost City and Tayrona National Park.
The lodge is implemented in the valley of the Guachaca River, at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, which is known by the ancient tribes as “The Heart of the World”. YAY’s amazing location benefits from the fresh waters of the Guachaca River and stunning mountainous jungle scenery, as well as being only a stone’s throw from the Caribbean Sea and beaches. The land itself is full of tropical herbs, fruits and vegetables together with giant, ancient trees that protect the water and refresh the air.
