Cacao tour with River Tubing
Visit a cacao plantation and learn about its cultivation and processing. Then, enjoy an exciting tubing adventure down the Buritaca River, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. A perfect combination of fun and learning.
Permaculture Tour
Explore how using the permaculture principles can create an abundance of food! Learn about working with the moon, the process from planting seeds till harvest, composting and more!
Yay Ecological Walk & Tubing
Get to know more about the vibrant fauna and flora of Guachaca. Learn about the medicinal benefits of plants and trees and the history of the Sierra Nevada while walking up the river, and then float down the crystal clear waters.
El Saltillo Waterfall
Hike through the jungle from YAY enjoying beautiful mountain scenery. These impressive hidden waterfalls have some magical pools to freshen up in after the hike up.
Horse Riding
Explore the wild and beautiful caribbean beaches on the back of a horse. Only well-treated horses here!. For beginner and advanced riders.
Visit an Indigenous Town
A glorious hike up into biodiverse hills to visit an indigenous Wiwa community. Once there, you will have the opportunity to learn about their way of life and culture
The Lost City Trek
You will meet your tour group and make the 10-minute drive to La Aguacatera from where this multi-day trek starts. The Lost City, originally known as Teyuna, was built sometime between 700 and 800 BC by the Tayrona civilization.
Beach destinations
Mendihuaca - Los Corchales - Los Angeles - Los Cocos - Los Naranjos - Buritaca - the list is almost never ending of stunning beaches in this region. Explore by bicycle, motorbike, or car, just arrange with reception. Ask about ordering a picnic to take with you
Tayrona National Park
The main entrance to the park is 15 minutes away from YAY by bike or car. There you can enjoy walking and hiking through the park. Tayrona is considered one of the most important ecological reserves in South America due to its flora, fauna, virgin beaches, archeological remains and streams. Entrance fee may vary according to season

In the Sierra Nevada you can find many beautiful nature spots on every river, each different from the other, but also beach spots, trails to the mountain and small towns full of stories. We work with local guides who have known the place for a long time to offer good quality experiences and adventures.
