Explore Yay

With wetlands to the West, desert to the East, mountains to the South and sea to the North, YAY is located on Colombia’s beautiful Caribbean Coastline, between The Lost City (Ciudad Perdida) and Tayrona National Park, 2km up a track from the main coastal road which runs from Santa Marta to Palomino.
The lodge lies in the valley of the Guachaca river, at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, known by Indiginous tribes as “The Heart of the World”.
YAY’s incredible location enjoys a private beach on the banks of the Guachaca River, with wonderfully refreshing and clean, flowing water. Surrounded by impressive mountainous jungle landscape, we are lucky to be so close to the Caribbean Sea and its lush beaches. YAY’s gardens are full of tropical plants, fruits and vegetables, as well as giant, century-old trees that protect the water and refresh the air.
