YAY offers a plant-based, fusion restaurant, inspired by a passion for amazing food which is also sustainable and healthy. In the kitchen, we like to use  tasty flavours from all over the world and benefit from the organic produce grown in our gardens and by local suppliers. Our menu is dynamic and responsive, allowing us to make the most of seasonal abundances and our constantly evolving gardens.

From the Garden

Using the principles of Permaculture, we continuously grow and plant a great variety of vegetables, fruits, nuts, grains, beans, herbs, spices and other foods which allows for sustainability, freshness and a connection with nature in every dish we present.

From the Community

Supporting the local economy is essential at YAY and it is a value that we preserve by motivating our neighbors to grow food in a sustainable and organic way. From the lands surrounding us we obtain yuca, plantain, bananas, oranges and other fruits, honey, coffee, cacao and much more.

Plant-Based

A plant-based diet focuses primarily on foods that originate from plants. This includes not only fruits and vegetables, but also nuts, seeds, oils, whole grains, legumes, beans, algae, mushrooms, herbs, spices and more.  It does not mean that you have to be vegetarian or vegan and never eat meat or dairy. We believe strongly that the fresher the better so in the kitchen we use only fresh and the most minimally processed ingredients. All the grounds and gardens of YAY are completely organic and we strive to buy only locally sourced organic products as much as possible. Different seasons bring different abundances, so our menu is dynamic and tries to flow with what nature provides at a given time.  

Fusion Cuisine

Fusion cuisine combines elements of different culinary traditions, which can originate from a variety of countries, regions, or cultures. An integrated combination of exemplary ingredients, seasonings and / or spices from other countries, as well as culinary practices, recipes and styles, going beyond the ordinary to a cultural experience full of sensations from around the world.
